Oh! Honestly, I’d say both. These cities are metropolitan enough that you’ll find vegan-friendly spots quite easily. You might not have as much luck with the more traditional brasserie-style places, but most cafés and restaurants I go to tend to have a couple of solid vegan options. I’m vegetarian, so I always check beforehand, and it’s usually no trouble.
FUNK, the first place in this post, actually specialises in plant-based pastries! And if you ever need recommendations for either city, feel free to message me. You could even do both—Brussels and a day trip to Antwerp (or the other way around) is totally doable; it’s just a 40-minute train ride 🤭
